Mascot of London Olympics

   London Olympic organizing committee official says, the Mascot of London Olympics reflects Britain and the Olympic Games’ strong origin. The mascot was called Wenlock by people. Which was Based on the prototype of the modern Olympic Games in 1850 - the UK temperature rock named after the Olympia games. The mascot of Paralympic Games was Mandeville.,which was named by holding the disabled sports of British Mandeville national centre in 1948.
The two mascots have only one eye, which was affirmed through one year and half’s innovation. The chairman lord coe, who is the London Olympic organizing committee official says, the two mascots were made for children, they tried to link the children with sports to tell the Olympic games stories. So that the two mascots will help the children grow up healthily.
The two mascots are made of modern metal with one-eyed cartoon. In fact their eyes are camera. The yellow light of the head is a sign of taxies in London. And the bracelet is a sign of friendship. The president of the London Olympic committee said the mascot was designed for the children, as well as the digital age was taken into consideration.
       People encourage children to communicate with the two mascots, even take them as a friend in facebook and twitter. The school invites the mascots to have a visit at school in order to encourage children to take part in kinds of sports.
